- 97.73% of the votes cast by eligible A2B shareholders were in favour of the acquisition by ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia

SINGAPORE, 25 March 2024 – ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited (“ComfortDelGro” or, “the Group”) today announced that eligible A2B Australia Limited (“A2B”) shareholders have voted to approve the proposed acquisition of A2B by ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia. An overwhelming 97.73% of votes cast by eligible A2B shareholders were in favour of the Scheme resolution.
ASX-listed A2B is a leading Australian taxi network and major technology and payment solutions provider in the personal transport industry. Its offerings include taxi services brands 13cabs and Silver Service, a leading taxi and booking dispatch platform, MTI, and the Cabcharge payment solution. Following completion of the acquisition, A2B will join ComfortDelGro’s growing 21,300 vehicle strong global taxi business which includes operations in Singapore, China, Australia and the United Kingdom.

ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia is one of Australia’s largest bus operators. It also operates non-emergency patient transport services (National Patient Transport) in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia and an outdoor advertising company (Moove Media). A2B will join the Group’s stable of point-to-point mobility brands which include Swan Taxis, a large operator of taxis in Western Australia.
Orders approving the Scheme will be sought from the NSW Supreme Court on 28 March 2024. Subject to the satisfaction or waiver (as applicable) of all conditions, the transaction will complete in April 2024.
